They reformed as a 4-piece in the year , recorded a full length album, then unfortunately had to cancel a uk tour in which was supposed tobe with phoenix bodies. They have been inactive since. On August 25th, Usurp Synapse final release “A Vile Contamina” was finally made available through the bands official Myspace page.
Long name for a place. Anyway, looks like Simon B. beat me to posting this on the web. Here's the MP3's though. I'm terrible at describing music, but isbarseehosurderalmotarmantmicom.co describes similar artists as Phoenix Bodies and In/Humanity. I can hear the Phoenix Bodies. Some parts remind me a bit of Usurp Synapse. It gets kind of jazzy at times. I recommend.
Usurp Synapse are just downright evil. Okay, not really, but the first thing you think when you hear the vocals prevalent throughout Disinformation Fix (Usurp Synapse’s discography) is just how tortured they sound. It’s like the guys getting his skin ripped off, and then having Teriyaki sauce poured over his exposed muscle tissue.

Even when Usurp Synapse throws in an unrelated sample (as they often do), they go straight back into the chaos. And even with the music being so violent and unrelenting in its nature, there is a fantastic use of dynamics. Most noticeably so on Usurp Synapse's last track, where the majority of the song is looming and more slow-moving than usual.
